PearlTap

Terms and Conditions

Last updated October 17, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and PearlTap ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using PearlTap, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What PearlTap is

PearlTap lets vendors create a public web page with links ("your page") and use an NFC sticker that opens it when someone taps it with a phone. We also show you basic statistics about visits to your page.

2. Your account

3. Free trial and subscriptions

4. Stickers

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put on your page: your name, photo, bio and links. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and share that content as needed to run PearlTap, including in link previews when your page is shared. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You're responsible for your content and for making sure you have the right to use it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use PearlTap to:

We may remove content, pause a page, or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first.

7. Our service

PearlTap, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us. These terms don't give you any rights to it beyond using the service as intended. We may change or add features. We aim to keep PearlTap available but don't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Disclaimers and limits on liability

PearlTap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We aren't responsible for the third-party sites your page links to, or for sales you make or miss.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to PearlTap is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost sales.

9. Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account any time by emailing us. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have been unpaid and inactive for more than 12 months. Sections 5 (license, until content is deleted), 8 and 10 survive closing.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Manitoba have jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use PearlTap after that means you accept the new terms.
